What would a 7% rate mean for your BNB position? Enter an amount of BNB or a value in euros to compare the estimated return from each offer. The calculation assumes the rate and coin price remain unchanged.
A higher percentage usually comes with different conditions or additional risk.

You deposit into a protocol and receive a tradable token representing the staked position. This adds smart contract, liquidity and depeg risk to the underlying staking risk. More about liquid staking.
This is not staking. You lend your coins to a provider, which pays interest from its own resources. If the provider fails, you may be an unsecured creditor and could lose the full deposit. More about lending.

BNB staking is genuine network staking. BNB Smart Chain uses Proof of Staked Authority: a limited validator set produces blocks, while delegated BNB helps determine which validators are active. Rewards primarily come from network transaction fees.
The clearest self-custody route is the official BNB Staking dApp, which supports Trust Wallet directly. Ensure your BNB is on BNB Smart Chain and keep a small unstaked balance for transaction fees.
The dApp shows details including validator stake and commission. After confirmation, BNB goes into that validator’s staking contract and a non-transferable staking credit records your position. Its value represents the deposit and rewards processed within the validator pool.
This credit is not a liquid staking token. You cannot send it to an exchange to bypass the withdrawal period. To exit, you undelegate, wait for the protocol period and then claim the BNB. The current BNB Chain documentation specifies a seven-day undelegation period; verify it in the transaction because network parameters can change.
You can move stake through redelegation. A protocol fee discourages constant switching, so check whether the expected commission difference justifies that fee and any missed rewards.
BNB Smart Chain can penalise or temporarily remove validators for downtime and conflicting conduct. As a delegator, also check:
A validator can leave the active set when others attract more stake. Historic rewards are therefore not a fixed property.
Native BNB staking is visible on-chain through the StakeHub system. A provider can also offer its own fixed or flexible BNB product. Ask whether it actually delegates, which commission it retains and whether it advances withdrawals from its own liquidity. Otherwise, you may be comparing network staking with a wider balance-sheet product.
See the official BNB Chain documentation on the staking mechanism and staking dApp. Our exchange versus own wallet guide explains the custody difference.
We collect rates directly from providers through their APIs or official websites and check them daily. Every rate shows when it was last checked. Providers can change terms without notice, so confirm the current rate before depositing.
Crypto returns are never guaranteed. On-chain staking can involve slashing, liquid staking adds smart contract and depeg risk, and lending can expose your entire deposit if a provider fails. In every category, a fall in the coin price can exceed the rewards earned.
